Our R&D Concept
Our core business unit works to reveal the invaluable natural wealth of the Greek and Mediterranean rich plant biodiversity. The Greek flora is widely known as one of the richest natural resources of phytochemicals of the world. Currently more than six thousand plant species live, prosper and evolve on the Greek mainland and the Aegean and Ionian Archipelagic Ecosystems.
CorinGreen's R&D team invests most of its time in the lab and in field trips exploring and characterizing plant molecular compounds and complexes.
Another aspect of R&D involves the exploitation of conventional agricultural products to provide a vast source of industrial enzymes, bioactives and phytochemicals.
Our R&D team has identified a certain number of Greek agricultural products with a long history of domestic cultivation and is currently researching to extract unique phytochemical complexes that can be used as antioxidants, food preservatives, phytopharmaceuticals, diagnostic reagents and cosmeceuticals.
We have established a progressively enlarging library of exciting molecular compounds that are expected to propel our industrial partner growth. Last but not least, one of the key strengths of our R&D team is the establishment of an alliance network with internationally accredited scientific teams.
